26 March 1879 — Hamilton House | |
Wednesday. 26th [March 1879]. We dined at the Salisbury a big dinner for the King of the Belgians & the P. of Wales. Their ladies were still prevented coming by their colds. A party afterwards. Lady Strangford was there & presented in state to the K who much to her disgust took little notice of her. We went on to a party at Lord Hartingtons—& saw a good many people we knew there. | |
