10 April 1879 — Blackheath
Thursday. 10th [April 1879]. After lunch we left Bkheath & went down to Henstridge to stay with Merthyr & be introduced to Theodora. Found the Clay Ker Seymers staying there much to my pleasure. Lady Westminister also was there—a clever bright active upright lady of 80. Sir J. Medlycott dined there & his sailor son. Gertie Seymer came & sat talking in my room at night talking over old times.
