Friday. 23rd May [1879]. Had a visit from Mme Halim Pasha who came up in their steam launch & stayed a couple of hours. The Hatzfeldts & Ittersum came to play lawn tennis. Hobart P. and his bride arrived from their wedding tour to stay with us. She was very tired & disappeared till dinner time. | |
