11 June 1879 — Therapia | |
Wednesday. 11th June [1879]. It was excessively hot. We worked & read. In the afternoon Alice & I went to call on Mme Halim P. & found her at home. We then went to call on Nazlie whom we also saw & on the way home we stayed at Mrs Willie’s & had some tea. Henry went to dine with the Sultan so Alice & I had an early tea & read aloud in the eveng. | |
