20 July 1879 — Therapia | |
Sunday. 20th July [1879]. Went to church in the morng & afterwards I went to see Lady Dickson who is still ailing. In the afternoon the 6 oared caique went out & took Henry & Alice, B & Edward, Mr Ash: & Oliphant. I stayed at home & rested. Mr Nicholson the new secy arrived from England. The Genl. & Mr Oliphant dined with us besides the Embassy. | |
