25 July 1879 — Therapia | |
Friday. 25th [July 1879]. Blanche & Alice bathed in the morng. After breakfast I washed a lot of lace for B. & then worked while B. read French to me. Henry, Blanche, Alice & Edward went out riding. I did not go out. We had the Glee practise in the afternoon. Mrs W. Hanson & May & Mr Oliphant called. We had a dinner party—to wh came M. & Mme Serkis, M. & Mme Raab, Mr Florez Garcia, Mr Graziano, Mme Longeville. B & I sang in the evening. | |
