Saturday. 30th [August 1879]. My Turkish lesson. Edward, B & Alice went off in the steam launch to Scutari to see the cemeteries. In the afternoon I sat out with Henry in the garden & read & worked & then later we played tennis. It was a very windy day & very dusty so that I came in abt 5.30. | |
