5 October 1879 — En route to Idalia, Cyprus | |
Sunday. 5th October [1879]. I [was] completely knocked up after all the excitement & bustle of the last days & had a bad headache & could do nothing but be in my long chair on deck but we had nothing to do being the whole day at sea. It was very hot & pleasant & smooth & towards eveng I got better. | |
