Wednesday. 7th [January 1880]. Wrote for messenger. I & Florence spent rest of morng in cutting out jackets. I sent Alice to ask Mme Mantilla to take her to the Fournier’s ball tonight wh she said she would do & so she & her husband came at 10 to fetch Alice. | |
