9 June 1880 — Venice | |
Wednesday. 9th [June 1880]. We breakfasted at 8 & went off to the station to leave by the 9.5 train for Paris. Css Marcello & Mr Brown went to see us off. We lunched at Verona & dined at Turin. Then we had to change carriages again at 11 at night at Modane & the Administrateur was very civil to us. | |
