5 July 1880 — Aldermaston Court, Aldermaston, Berkshire | |
Monday. 5th July [1880]. Sat out in sun in the morning till it was time to start by train 12.15 for London. The Gregory’s, Mr Burton & Ld Somers returned to town by the same train & we had an amusing journey & got home for luncheon– I did not go out again. Arthur brought Mildred & Rhuvon to tea. Lady E. Hankey & Ly Llanover called. I went to bed before dinner– Henry took Alice & Nelly to the Play to see “School.” | |
