Tuesday. 26th [October 1880]. I had a charming day’s painting. Henry went out in the morng with Mr Burton & after lunch he took the Brownings to the Stabilimento & then brought them here & up to my studio—then I put away my work & went down with them to receive Mr & the Misses Graham & then went out with them for a row we came home by the Giudecca & the Casa [illegible word]. Did not go out—played the piano– | |
