17 November 1880 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 17th [November 1880]. Rather better but not able to get up till abt 4. It blew hard & rained. Henry walked out. I wrote a lot of letters in bed. Dined in the library & sat in my studio in the eveng. The gilder we employ brought 2 portraits one of a man by Rosalba in crayon the other a portrait in oils of Rosalba by Longhi. | |
