16 November 1880 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 16th November [1880]. Got up with a headache painted notwithstanding till just one when I had to give it up & lie down. Henry went out to Guggenheim’s to see some tapestry for Ivor to buy. After lunch he took the Bagot family to see the glass blowing at Murano. When he returned he found me just getting into bed—very sick & ill—I was very ill till night time when I got a little better. | |
