Monday. 22nd [November 1880]. I painted all the morng & in the aftern went out in gondola with Henry & called on Lady Bagot at H. Britannia & sat some time talking to her. After I went to join Henry & walk with him in the Piazza & we walked & then he went to Guggenheim’s to talk over exchanging some of our things for an old tapestry he has. | |
