5 March 1881 — Florence | |
Saturday. 5th March [1881]. Breakfasted with Mrs Sloane & went off by 10.40 train Mr Spence & Colnaghi coming to see us off. We dined at Bologna at 4.15 & arrived at Venice at 10.50. Got some tea & went to bed. The weather cold & damp. | |
