15 April 1881 — Inwood, Henstridge, Somerset | |
Friday. 15th [April 1881]. Good Friday. I walked to Henstridge church with Theo & Merthyr. Had no sermon. Great change in the weather & it was quite mild. After lunch we dawdled about in the garden & in the stables & came in to tea at 5. In the evening Merthyr & I sang together in the new gallery till quite late. We went over many familiar old ditties. | |
