27 November 1881 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Sunday. 27th November [1881]. I was rather headachy & did not move much in the morng. Pasted in despatches. Went out with Henry in the gondola. He got out at S. Moisé & I went to see Lady Bagot & sat some time with her & we had a last long chat. She leaves tomorrow for Rome to spend the winter there. I came home & laid down & took some tea—feeling very CD. All the rest of the party went to Mrs Edens to hear Frontali play & Constance accompanied him & they did not come in much before dinner. When they went to dinner I went to bed & had a bad night.
