26 March 1882 — 3 Savile Row
Sunday. 26th March [1882]. I was tired & determined not to go out all day, so I read at home & arranged the dried flowers in my Bible. After lunch Henry went out to pay some visits & to the Grosvenor Gallery, where Lady Lindsay of Balcarres had a reception. Blanche & her 2 little girls came in to see me after their afternoon church but did not stay long. Mrs Burr came in from the Grosvenor gallery & had a chat till just upon dinner time. Henry & I dined alone & went to bed early. Played cribbage.
