28 July 1882 — Molde | |
Friday. 28th July [1882]. Weather fine. We had to wait till abt 12 when the Tasso arrived & we went on board. As soon as we got away from Molde we began to find it windy but as long as we were in the Fjord we did not mind & we all assembled at luncheon at 1. We got to Aalesund at 3 & remained there abt an hour—it blew fresher & I laid down in the saloon. At last at abt 6 it got worse & I staggered up into the chart house on deck & there remained all night tossed but not sick. | |
