Friday. 18th August [1882]. We were called at 6. Breakfasted & went on board 7.15 steamer. Got to Arona abt 11.30. Went on by train to Milan by 12– Lunched there. Left by 1.15 train & arrived at Venice at 7. Met by Giovanni. Dined & went to bed– | |
