19 August 1882 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 19th [August 1882]. Busy morning unpacking & arranging my studio. Lunched at 1—afterwards Alice & Henry went out in the gondola to call on Rawdon Brown whom they found pretty well but with a very failing memory. I rested and read. We dined at 7 & went out to the Piazza after dinner & went to bed early. | |
