28 December 1882 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Thursday. 28th December [1882]. Wrote letters & read in morng. After lunch went off to see Andriana Marcello. Spent an hour with her talking of various matters & looking over my list for invitations for Thursdays 4 to 11th Jany. I went afterwards to meet Henry at the Piazza. Home abt 4 & wrote invitations & sent some out– Had tea, practised harmonium– Dinner 7.30. Quiet eveng reading, cribbage– | |
