19 February 1883 — Exeter House, Roehampton | |
Monday. 19th [February 1883]. Henry returned to town after breakfast. I remained with Maria until 3.30 when we walked down to Putney. I paid Temmy a visit & then went to the station to join Maria & Nela & Daisy & Ola. The latter & I came up to town. Found the brougham at Waterloo & came straight home– Had tea & Ola & I put up some flowers we had bought– Dressed for dinner. Arthur dined with us. Henry & I went in eveng to Mrs Childers where there was a very small dull party– Home early. | |
