10 April 1883 — 3 Savile Row | |
Tuesday. 10th April [1883]. I went to Miss Bell the dressmaker in Wigmore St to meet Maria & Ola to help to choose a dress for the latter who is to “come out” & have an evening gown made. They came there & then we returned to lunch at Savile Row. After lunch Henry & I went in the brougham to the S. Kensington Museum to see Sir P. Owen but he was not there we went on to call on Sir Charles & Lady Layard & they were at home. | |
