13 April 1883 — 3 Savile Row | |
Friday. 13th [April 1883]. Had the brougham in the morning & went with Henry to Goupil’s where I was followed by Maria & Ola. I left Henry & went on with them to Miss Bells to see abt Ola’s dress. I called at Blanche’s she was out. Paid Mama a visit & then went home to lunch. I took Ola out with me again in the afternoon & arranged that Miss Bell was to let her have her gown to go out on Monday eveng as I wanted to launch her & then we returned to Savile Row to tea & met Maria there. Blanche also came & I walked home with her & then back in time for our dinner. Arthur dined with us & Squire Burr turned up in the evening for a game of cribbage. | |
