8 September 1883 — La Punta, Longarone | |
Saturday. 8th September [1883]. My cold still bad so I did not get up till 11. The rest breakfasted at 8 & went to Zoldo and did not get back till nearly 6. I had a little soup—made cigarettes for Henry being the only occupation I was fit for—read a little & worked tapestry. They were glad of tea when they returned from Zoldo. Giovanni was not well & Mr Rate doctored him. We dined at 7.30 & went to bed early. | |
