Wednesday. 7th [November 1883]. I painted a little. Did not go out. Henry took the Kennedys to Murano. I had visits from a poor English governess out of place & also from Viscss Soveral & her daughter. Tea in the studio. I did not feel well—& was chilly. Dined at 7.30 & early to bed. | |
