Tuesday. 12th February [1884]. Unpacked & put things in order. Blanche brought Onie & Irène to see us in morning. Mr Horatio Brown called also. Lunched at 1. I did not go out as I have a cold. Blanche & Lady E. Ashley came to tea. I saw Monty in the morning after breakfast & I gave out stores to Mary– Dined at home & Mary managed to cook for us as we have no cook yet. | |
