7 March 1884 — 3 Savile Row | |
Friday. 7th March [1884]. Wrote all morning. Temmy came to spend a few days with us & after lunch she & I went out together to make purchases at the Stores & had a very fatiguing afternoon & were glad to get home to tea at 5. I did not feel very well. Happily we dined at home. At the Stores we saw at a distance Hill & Giovanni the bride & bridegroom. He was meekly following her from counter to counter while she made her purchases. | |
