Tuesday. 24th [June 1884]. Alice came to my room early to say she had a swelled face so I made her stay in bed. I went out with Henry in afternoon in gondola & came home at 5. Visit from Ct & Css Canevaro & Maria Cozzi. Ersilia begged me to go with her tomorrow morning to the Lido wh I settled to do. | |
