1 August 1884 — La Punta, Longarone | |
Friday. 1st August [1884]. Up 7.30. After breakfast in room wrote letters till 11 then dressed & lunch at 1. Went out & painted again at the big verbasco plant I had begun before we went to Munich. Tea at 4. Went for a walk with Henry down to the mills and by the Longarone high road thro’ Castillo home. Sat in garden till dinner time at 7.30. Sat out for an hour in evening. It was cloudy all the afternoon & rain threatened but did not come up after all. Cribbage– | |
