Monday. 18th [August 1884]. Painted wild flowers & wrote letters to Ivor & Lady Ely to tell them abt the pension. Painted again after lunch & then sat out in the garden & read Lecky aloud to Henry till dinner time. In the eveng sat in the garden & talked to Ct Collobiano—went early to bed. | |
