13 December 1884 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Saturday. 13th December [1884]. I wrote lists for the stores &c & then went out to No 15 & arranged to go to pay a visit to Lady Ampthill & then to meet Blanche at Marshall & Snellgrove & shop with her. We went home for lunch. At 2 Mr Burton (M.D.) & Blanche came to see us & bid us good bye as she is going to Roehampton for 10 days. Henry & I went down to Milton Court by 4.50 train to stay with the Rates. They were all at home & had 2 Miss Lubbocks staying with them. | |
