12 December 1884 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Friday. 12th December [1884]. Mrs Willy Hanson came to call & stayed some time talking. When she left Addie Tavistock came & we showed her over our house. After lunch I went out with Arthur to help him to shop & to do a commission for Ivor to go to Needs & get his master key & get a packet for him from Hamilton House wh I did, went to tea with Mrs Hambro to meet Mme de Bulow– Ivor telegraphed to say he was coming to dinner & he & Richard Du Cane & Juanito Riaño dined with us & played billiards in the evening. My brother Arthur came to luncheon & he & I walked together– He left for America tonight. | |
