29 March 1885 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Sunday. 29th [March 1885]. Alice & I went to church St Georges Hanover Sqr. Mr Clark gave us a place in his pew. Coming out I said I would go home with him to call on Mrs Clark. He said she was too ill to see any one & in her bed. We went home to lunch. Henry went out to pay visits. Arthur Burr came to call & also Lady Somers & then Mrs Alexander Bagot & she stayed to tea. Henry, Alice & I went to dine at 3 Savile Row with Monty. Met Mr & Mrs & Miss Hambro, Blanche & Edward– Genl Hankey, my brother Arthur. | |
