Saturday. 9th [May 1885]. Very busy day getting the house in order & installing the cook in her new kingdom. At 5 had tea in the boudoir & visits from Css Canevaro & Mlle Cozzi & the Hurtados. Mrs Eden came in the morng. Mr Clark & Blanche arrived by the eveng train just in time for dinner. | |
