Saturday. 20th [June 1885]. I went out with Mrs Eden shopping in the morning to look for material to make hangings for the windows of our second floor in case of the fêtes wh are to be on the occasion of the launch of the ironclad the Morosini. I brought home 3 coloured linens yellow, red & yellow. Lord & Lady Alwyne Compton, Miss Mabel de Grey & Mr Melville Anderson dined with us. | |
