12 September 1885 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Saturday. 12th September [1885]. Henry took Addie out in the morng sightseeing. After lunch we had a visit from the Marquis d’Azeglio who is at Venice for a few days. Henry, Addie, Rachel & I went out to the Piazza in the afternoon & took a walk & we went to the Stabto to show them the mosaics. We dined at 7.30 & went to Piazza & there met d’Azeglio again. | |
