14 September 1885 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 14th [September 1885]. I was not very well & so stayed in all day & painted. Henry went to meet the evening train by which the Crown Princess of Germany & her 3 girls, Count Seckendorff, Fraulein von Gersdorff, Mlle Perpigna, Mlle de Bujard & Herr Lutteroth arrived. We dined at 8 in consequence. Addie & I went out sketching at sunset. | |
