Friday. 25th September [1885]. This morning it began to rain & it was more or less wet all day. I played “bocette” with D. Carlo d’Adda in the afternoon. Worked– Towards 5 it cleared a little & I went out for a little walk with Henry. Thundered nearly all night. | |
