7 January 1886 — Inwood, Henstridge, Somerset | |
Thursday. 7th [January 1886]. Hard frost. Merthyr & Theo went out to hunt but returned as it was too hard frost even to throw off. I painted hard all day. Fine sunshiny weather but I did not go out in order to finish my work wh I did by the time it grew dark. More stories to Goodie after tea wh we had in the microscope room. Luff came. Whist. | |
