13 January 1886 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Wednesday. 13th January [1886]. Finished copying out for Henry. Mama called in the morning & Maria. Ola came to lunch & we drove down to Putney to see Temmy who is a little better but has been very failing–& cannot live very long. We found Kate & Cecil Alderson there. They were on their way to Hatfield but hearing Temmy was so ill stopped to see her. I drove home by 5. Henry went to the Huguenot Society dinner at the “Criterion.” My brother Arthur came & had a quiet dinner with me. Henry came home abt 10.30. Arthur & I played the guitar in the eveng. | |
