9 March 1886 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Tuesday. 9th March [1886]. Eda & I went shopping & then to the “Dinners.” Ladies Cremorne & St Germans came to help there & Blanche. The latter came back to lunch with me & Arthur also came to lunch & Cecil Alderson. The latter came to fetch Eda & take her home. We had a dinner party consisting of Lord & Lady Wolseley, Sir Lewis & Lady Pelly, Mrs Kay, Lady Dorothy Neville, Sir John Rose, Mr Herbert Thompson & Ola Du Cane. Mr C. Newton was to have come but never turned up. | |
