25 April 1886 — Inwood, Henstridge, Somerset
Sunday. 25th April [1886]. Easter Sunday. Having still a bad foot I could not go to church today. It was very fine & warm. I & Monty walked up & down in the garden on the grass talking. After lunch we went down as far as the chicken house & inspected the fowls & I drew. We sat in the garden & only went in at tea time & then sat in Maria’s bedroom & Monty & I sketched out of the window. Family prayers as usual.
