5 June 1886 — 1 Queen Anne Street | |
Saturday. 5th June [1886]. Mrs Bagot came to lunch. We took her out driving with us afterwards. We went to Mr Vigor’s studio to see his portrait of Henry’s brother Edgar wh we thought excellent. We left her in Eaton Place to find her way home & we went to Christy’s to see Dicky Doyle’s sketches which are there for sale. His brother Mr H. Doyle met us & showed us the sketches which are very clever & interesting, among the many caricatures is one of Henry. Dined at home. | |
