13 June 1886 — En route to Norway
Sunday. 13th June [1886]. Lovely morning & I was able to get up after breakfast. We reached Aalesund abt 3 & Molde at 8. We were met by Mr Randers who had the small fjord steamer ready for us & we parted with our fellow passengers & good Capt Lawson & transferred ourselves from the “Hero” to the “Molde” & started at once for Syltebo. Larsen our cook interpreter met us. It was a fine night, the wife of our capt gave us some excellent coffee & rusks. We reached Noste abt 1 & walked up to the house by the new bridge wh Monty has built since we were last here. Went at once to bed.
