9 July 1886 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Friday. 9th [July 1886]. We got up at 7 & both Henry & I fished before breakfast without result. It was bitterly cold & snow fell on the hills around us. Fred & Edgar went to the Lake & brought home 20 trout & char. I lit a fire in the sitting room. We dined at 7. I fished again from the bridge 0– Henry got a large fish at Gredhus & lost him from his cast breaking. | |
