11 August 1886 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Wednesday. 11th August [1886]. Carved in morning. After tiffin Henry went to fish bridge. I to bank & mouth of river neither of us got anything. It was cloudy day. We dined at 6 & I went to Friswold. Fished down from Kiespool & got 2 lb. trout there. Then Poolen—hooked & lost fine salmon after ½ hour’s play. A few casts at bridge 0. Home at 10. Henry fished from Up. Gredhus down salmon in Lr Gredhus 20 lbs. Evening showery. | |
