10 August 1886 — Syltebo, Romsdalsfjord | |
Tuesday. 10th [August 1886]. It was a fine day & I worked in porch at my carving. We dined at 4.30 & Henry went up to Haande & fished down but got nothing. I fished the bridge before dinner, got one rise to fly & lost a minnow without a rise. After dinner I fished from Fagerslet down to the end of Gredhus & never had a rise but saw salmon at Poolen & Lr Gredhus. | |
